Review by hotel critic
During my recent gourmet getaway at St James Gate By Bower Boutique Hotels in Moncton, I had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights of Cafe C'est la Vie Bistro, conveniently located a stone's throw away. As a landscape photographer with a keen eye for detail, I appreciate the artistry that goes into food presentation. The continental breakfast served daily at the hotel was sufficient for my needs, especially when paired with a steaming cup of coffee from Timothy's World Coffee nearby.Having ventured to different dining spots, like Mama's Restaurant and Bangkok Food Truck within walking distance, I found myself drawn back to Cafe C'est la Vie Bistro for its cozy ambiance and attentive service. The menu was diverse, offering a fusion of flavors that left my taste buds intrigued. However, unlike my memorable experiences at Rouge Premier Lounge or The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse, the chicken caesar salad I had for supper lacked the punch of garlic I had anticipated from past visits.Despite this slight shortfall, the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere of St James Gate remain unmatched, making it a top choice for my future visits to Moncton. As a nature lover who seeks tranquility and beauty, the hotel's attention to detail and warm hospitality have won me over irreversibly. I look forward to my next stay, eager to uncover more culinary treasures within its vicinity.
